3D for EPOC - an engine for change

Ever wondered when 3D applications, like TombRaider, Microsoft simulator or Quake would make it to the EPOC platform? Have you pondered whether it could be done? Prepare to be amazed...

T3D Test, available for download below, is a demonstration program utilising T3D, by Tixy (J.D.Medhurst).

T3D is a fabulous, blisteringly quick, fully featured, commercial quality 3D engine, which heralds a new era in EPOC games and applications.

Features
T3D is a graphics library for EPOC C++ programmers. It is written to provide many of the functions required by programs which need 3D graphics, or 2D graphics beyond that current supported by EPOC. Some of the features provided are:

· Drawing of polygons with or without textures. (Including transparent pixels.)
· Flat or gouraud shaded polygons.
· Drawing 3D models with Z sorting.
· Multiple light sources.
· Viewpoint (camera) manipulation.
· Fast fixed point maths routines, including implementation of 3D vector and matrix classes.
· Stream store functions for loading/saving T3D data.
· Importing of 3DStudio models. (Other formats yet to be implemented.)

T3D Test

The T3DTest program shows the T3D graphics library in action. It shows a simple scene that you can 'fly' around and lets you import 3DStudio files for viewing.
